Johan Krijnen’s 40th anniversary & retirement. On March 1st, 1985, Johan Krijnen started at CSi and now we celebrate his 40th anniversary and well-deserved retirement. In the past forty years, Johan helped a lot of people with his technical knowledge and repair abilities, and he will be missed!

If you say Technical services, you say Johan. Always the true craftsman, if a tool or machine broke he’s the one that can get it to work again. Whether it was an electric drill or air conditioning unit, something in the office or equipment to take on site, everything was in the best possible condition after Johan was done with it. In the past forty years, Johan has been in a lot of departments, from Housing and Technical Services to Facility Management and finally Lifecycle Services. And due to facility changes, he also had to move his workshop numerous times.

What many people may not know is that Johan, together with Freek Dijks, designed and built the first roller production line. That was truly pioneering work and an achievement upon which we still build today.

But above all, Johan has always been a colleague with a big heart. Always ready to help, always in for a chat and always willing to share his knowledge. And very honest with a huge passion for technology and very motivated to send everyone out safely with reliable tools. That makes this farewell extra special.

Dear Johan, after 40 years of loyal service, you leave a huge empty space. On behalf of all your colleagues, we would like to thank you tremendously for everything you have meant to us and the company. Congratulations with you 40th anniversary and we wish you a wonderful retirement.
