The Team Manager Project Management is responsible for leading the project management team (11fte). The role ensures that large-scale, multidisciplinary projects (palletising and material-handling systems) are optimally managed, delivered on time and within budget, and meet defined quality standards. The position focuses on building and maintaining an organizational structure that secures optimal project delivery, customer satisfaction and project profitability. Our projects vary significantly in nature from large, multidisciplinary assignments with intensive customer interaction to smaller lean‑focused deliveries, standard product implementations, and software‑intensive projects requiring an iterative approach and therefore demand different styles of project management.
The Team Manager Project Management reports directly to the Director Palletising Systems and serves as the primary interface between the project organization and the wider operation, working closely with the team leaders of Mechanical-, Hardware- & Software Engineering, System Integration, I&C, Procurement and Service to align planning, capacity and priorities. The Manager Project Management chairs project management meetings, coordinates cross departmental planning and risk management with all team leaders to ensure seamless project execution, and represents the Project Management Department at management level by providing strategic input on project performance, capacity planning, process improvements and organizational development.
